Dear Neighbors-

I’m reaching out on behalf of the Spruce Hill Community Association (SHCA) to ask for your support in signing a petition regarding Bill 251030. 

If passed, Bill 251030 will allow developers to bypass aspects of the historic designation process, weaken protections for designated properties, increase certain criteria for designation while removing landscape architecture as a criterion for designation, and removes transparency and opportunities for community input.

Your signature adds meaningful support to protect the integrity of historic preservation efforts in Philadelphia, including SHCA’s current initiative to expand upon the recently designated Southeast Spruce Hill Historic District.
