Dear Neighbors,

We are so excited to be in the final countdown to the Spruce Hill Community Association’s 68th Annual May Fair coming up this Saturday, May 9th, 12-6pm, on what promises to be a beautiful spring day in Clark Park (43rd & Chester). Follow us on Instagram and Facebook @sprucehillca for updates!

This year’s May Fair will be larger and livelier than ever, featuring:

  • Live Music throughout the day! Mad Beatz Philly, Ants on a Log, Settlement Music School Jazz Ensemble, Upholstery, and Steady State - check out our website for the schedule and to learn more about these fantastic performers!

  • Family friendly activities! Petting Zoo, moon bounce and obstacle course, free kids games, and Stacey's Face Painting

  • More than 90 Vendors! Showcasing local artisans, crafters, and small businesses offering novel gifts and unique goods (just in time for Mother’s Day), alongside community organizations and services. In addition to our many returning vendors, we are delighted to welcome more than 35 new vendors participating in May Fair for the first time - - visit our website to view the complete lists of confirmed vendors so far!

  • $1 Raffle, Special Day of Fair $5 Raffle, and Silent Auction - there is still time to purchase raffle tickets online - for our popular raffle baskets chock full of prizes generously donated by local businesses. Online raffle sales close FRIDAY May 8th at 5PM! Otherwise, stop by the Spruce Hill booth on the Day of the Fair to purchase your tickets.

  • The University City Garden Club Plant Sale!

  • A Wide Variety of Food Trucks! Bring your appetite to savor the deliciousness of 215 Flavors, Lil’ Pop Shop, Rafas Cocina, Thai It Up, UPenn Gyro, and What’s on the Grill.

  • SHCA Booth - purchase zoo and bounce house tickets, peruse raffle prizes and buy tickets, purchase our popular “Hillies” t-shirts (now also in youth sizes!), sign up or renew your membership, learn about current SHCA activities including Spruce Up Grants and Historic Preservation, and much more!

We extend our sincere appreciation to our generous 2026 May Fair Sponsors!
