Hi all,
this morning while writing a test for the regexp escaping issue I noticed that the test runner suite is not working anymore.

I opened an issue:

See for yourself (public link, will stay up for a while):

Running any of the built-in apps things locally on current master seems to behave badly.

- It can take several tries (and a cache clearing) to get anything to show at all.
- The app launcher lists all of the built-in apps twice.
- The showcase app looks like it is missing some of the showcases, and if you collapse the "Views & Controls" group header it disappears. (It comes back intermittently if you collapse the other group.) See here.
- The test runner is doing the thing Umberto said.

Thanks for the public link Umberto!

Tyler says we're running the wrong version of Abbot (i.e. the gem version). Delightful instructions for installing your own can be found here.

Also thanks for the link to your blog post Umberto, I linked to it up on the sproutcore blog.

And he's right, but the instructions are probably obsolete with respect with newer versions of bundler, will update them asap.
Sorry for the false alarm.

Which explains the trouble I was having! Let us know when you've got the new ones?

Thanks,
Dave

Dave,
these are the commands I used to install SC development:

start at line 35.

Cheers,
Umberto

PS: for some reason bundler won't create a bin directory on my computer, so I used bundle exec
to launch sc-server at the end.
