In case you're interested, here's a list of programs we're running onsite! Feel free to share widely and stop by if you're interested! We're located at 577 Somerville Ave, Somerville MA 02143. Most of these are geared for kids ages 7-13.

October Classes and Workshops!

Micro:bit Robotics
3 sessions, October 14-28, 10-11:30 am
$75 REGISTER HERE.

Join us for a three session workshop where participants can build a robot using a simple block-based programming language. Three Saturdays, October 14th – 28th, 10-11:30pm. $75 for coding only, $100 to take home the micro:bit and components you used.

Monster Bags
Saturday October 14, 12:30- 2 pm

Going trick-or-treating? Design and sew your own monster-themed bag for holding your Halloween candy! We're excited to be offering one of our favorite workshop

Creepy Halloween Miniatures
Saturday October 21, 12:30-2 pm
$15, REGISTER HERE
Make scary jack-o-lanterns and Halloween foodstuffs out of polymer clay. Tiny replica food that looks good enough to eat. Led by our resident tiny food expert, Dina Gjertsen. Ages 7-13
Big Wings
Saturday October 28, 12:30-2 pm

Make your own set of extendable wings to add to a Halloween costume!

P&C Haunted House @
Somerstreets Monster Mash-Up!
Sunday October 22, 2-6 pm
Get ready for Halloween with our annual Somerstreets haunted house! We've been told it's very scary; every year we turn our shop into a maze of horrors. Come by, check it out, take a ride on the Flunx, and help us get ready for Halloween on Somerville Ave!

Tuesday November 7th is a day off for Somerville Public Schools, but Parts and Crafts will be open. We have limited slots for an "Election Day Camp" for parents looking for something for their kids to do. Spots are limited, sign up today to reserve a space! Early and late care available

Afterschool at Parts and Crafts!
Monday - Friday, 3-5:30

Our shop is open weekdays afterschool to kids who want to make, play and build! Each day includes one main activity to get kids started, which could be bookbinding, duct-tape wallets, water color painting, mini-catapults, motorcars, Scratch, and 3D modeling and printing.

Center for Semiconducted Learning: Homeschooling at Parts and Crafts!

The Center for Semi-Conducted Learning (CSCL) is a year-round school alternative program open to homeschoolers, unschoolers, and everyone in between. We are open to kids ages 7-13, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m to 3 p.m., with classes and workshops offered in science, engineering, art, and creative writing. Currently enrolling for Fall 2017!
