Hi everyone!   Another great project!

Earlier in the Fall we (Parts and Crafts) worked with our friends at the Public Lab to develop a low-cost, DIY open-hardware digital microscope.   They have since taken the work we did in developing and documenting this project, iterated and improved it, and are now running a Kickstarter campaign to develop it further.   It's a really cool project supporting a really amazing group.  I encourage you to have a look!

Public Lab Community Microscope Kit

Back the Kickstarter!

This kit grew out of one group’s need to investigate particulate air pollution in their community, and has grown into a project that will help others conduct their own environmental investigations.

All Public Lab projects are open source -- designed by and for people who want to be part of something bigger. Many people have contributed their skills, time and energy to the Community Microscope Kit in order to make this project into something that others others can join and be a part of.
