Dear friends and acquaintances,

Just wanted to send a note about my new business, Greenwoman Market. (Started in January!)

My goal is to have a website linking all "green"/earth-friendly Colorado businesses.

And to help promote these businesses through social media and a monthly newsletter.

I'm interested in not only places connected to horticulture (my "specialty," but many types of businesses connected to local and sustainable.

Here are some that would "fit":

Restaurants that sell food using local ingredients
Places that recycle (used bookstores, used clothing, etc.)
Farmers
Ranchers
Wineries
People who grow microgreens or organic mushrooms
People who build garden structures
Recycled art
Art that celebrates nature (especially COLORADO nature!)
Green cleaning companies
Bicycle shops
Herbal medicines, teas and other products
Nature/Sustainability/Homesteading Education
(the list basically goes on and on!)

SO, if you're either one of these businesses or know someone who is, check out the website at http://www.greenwomanmarket.com and send me a note—or pass along this email!

Because: I am offering FREE advertising for businesses this year!

All that you have to do is offer a 10% discount to customers I send your way, starting this spring, via my "Greenwoman Market Club Card" (which will cost only $25 in this inaugural year and will be good for one year).

I am super-excited about this project! I already have some businesses signed up, including in Denver and Paonia and Pueblo—I would LOVE to have more Colorado Springs businesses on board for the initial debut of businesses on February 14th (next Friday!).

Thanks for reading my email and I hope you have a fantastic weekend!

This sounds terrific and I would lovere: to participate in the program. I do NOT do text imaging, I am SERIOUSLY "old school" re: technology & typing on a tiny keyboard. my telephone number is 319-486-5124 or 515-215-0648. I just got this garbage cellular phone & do NOT LIKE IT AT ALL! Donna Kringlen p.s. I am a former English, Spanish, & other languages teacher as well as a former case mgr for seniors from silver key senior services in colorado springs, colorado. This took a VERY long time to write, so I hope you CALL ME and speak to ME, not to a machine...sincerely, Donna Kringlen

Dearest Earth-Loving Friends & Associates!

I wrote about a month ago telling you about a new venture I was creating:

A website directory and discount card of earth-friendly, sustainability-minded businesses in Colorado.

This Greenwoman Market Club Card will allow you to get 10% discounts dozens Colorado businesses.

It's been an astonishing two months! I've connected with ranches, farms, and many amazing small businesses all over Colorado! I've been learning about Colorado agriculture and agri-tourism. It's been heartening and fun to discover all the businesses that are springing up.

And so far I have three dozen of these businesses on board!

They include:

A new local hotel SPC Hotel (Soul, Planet, Community) that caters to sustainability and locally-made
A local home cleaning business (a veteran-owned "Mom" business) that uses only organic and earth-friendly cleaning products
Three local (and much-loved) family-run plant nurseries
Wineries and a restaurants in Paonia and Canyon City
Several ranches that sell 100% hormone and antibiotic free grassfed lamb, chicken, beef, turkey and eggs.
A local family-run (since 1979) health food store (Mountain Mama's!)
Herbal apothecaries that sell organic and Colorado-product based soaps, lotions, salves, etc.
An herbal tea company (100% organic and local ingredients), in Hotchkiss
A local business that builds geodesic dome greenhouses
Fast food (pizza and burgers) that use Colorado-based and organic ingredients

and MORE!

Check it out:

Needless to say, I'm super-excited! I have more businesses in the pipeline, including nature-based workshops in Paonia, another ranch that sells heirloom breed beef, and a hot springs resort (to name just three)!

While I'm writing today to give you an update, I'm also writing to ask for a little help.

I've done the work and now I really need to get the word out!

For those of you who know me, you know I don't have a lot of money to spend on advertising.

(And we ALL know the very best advertising is word-of-mouth anyway.)

You also know I'm dedicated to this kind of work. For me, it's Soul Work. I TRULY LOVE these businesses, I LOVE the people who are trying to make Colorado more sustainable and who are putting their heart and soul into THEIR work!

So, would you please help me spread the word, please?

The card's coming out March 19th, on the first day of spring. I'm offering a discount now for pre-sales.

Right now the cost of the Greenwoman Market Club Card is only $22.50.
$22.50 for a year of discounts at what will ultimately be 50-100 businesses throughout Colorado.
(The price will go up to $25 on March 20th.)

A person could frequent just one of these businesses this year and "get their money back." Plus some!

It's a GREAT DEAL!

Write me if you can help (I'd be happy to gift "influencers" with a card - or if you're a "big" influencer, two or three!).

Just share this email with your friends. Or maybe put a post on Facebook or Next Door.

(I, and all the great businesses I'm promoting, will be EVER SO GRATEFUL!)

Thank you so, so, so much!

Have a beautiful rest-of-your-week!

Fondly,

Sandy

P. S. I would also be grateful if you'd "like" Greenwoman Market on Facebook! ❤️ THANK YOU AGAIN! ❤️
