We (me) have picked the date for the Third Annual Take-A-Peak Chicken
Coop Tour. It will be on the third weekend in May - May 19 and May
20.

The format will be the same as it has been - a self guided tour
starting at my coop where you pickup maps. Depending on the number of
coops and their locations we might have an alternate starting point.

If you would like to help or want to be on the tour, send me
(jpconner2-at-gmail.com) a short note with the subject line 'Tour -
2012'.

Hope you have a great Holiday Season and your chickens (and/or ducks)
are giving lots of nutritious little gifts. (Mine are still on molt
strike!)

John,

This is exciting news, indeed. I can't wait for May! 8-)

Yes, I want to help you with any tasks that are involved with making the tour possible. I have time and computing resources available and am at your disposal.

At the geodesic greenhouse open house, you mentioned the idea of adding rabbits to the tour. If that isn't practical, what about encouraging rabbit keepers that are on the "chicken" tour to at least highlight their rabbits, as well, in their site description. From the traffic on the COS Urban Homesteading discussions, it looks like there is a lot of crossover.

Please let me know how I can help with preparations for The Tour.

Happy Holidays,
- nathan

Jon, did you mean May 18 and 19? If so, our community owned coop co-op would like to be available for tours on Saturday the 18th. Our coop is in the alleyway between Sheridan and foot at 1309 e yampa. We have 9 those island reds. Thanks.
