beware springpad redirects links

I don't have time to read through the forum.  I was upset enough to find this forum and post.

I posted a direct link for a friend on a shared notebook from Amazon.com to a specific product.   Springpad took my link and switched it to Pricegrabber.com with a higher price.

I was posting a link to a product on a specific online store.  Sprigpad hijacked my link and converted the link to Pricegrabber.

How am I supped to use this as a tool to collect links to products if Springpad is going to switch it?  If this is how Springpad makes their money, it may be time to switch services.

Hi Kyle - 

I am so sorry you've run into trouble!  When you add a product to Springpad, we do our best to find the best possible price and add it to the product to help you out. That said, the product should still always have the original link on it (in this case, to Amazon.com).  Can you send me the link to the product at ka...@springpad.com so I can look into what might have gone wrong?
