Right, looking at these results:

[root@sdl8test ~]# curl ftp://ftp.halifax.rwth-aachen.de/puias/8.0/x86_64/os/AppStream/ |wc -l
% Total    % Received % Xferd  Average Speed   Time    Time     Time  Current
Dload  Upload   Total   Spent    Left  Speed

[root@sdl8test ~]# curl http://mirrors.dotsrc.org/centos/8.0.1905/AppStream/x86_64/os/Packages/ |wc -l
% Total    % Received % Xferd  Average Speed   Time    Time     Time  Current

Shows that the CentOS AppStream contains 100x more packages(well, I assume from the number of lines..).

Would it be possible to disable SDL AppStream in /etc/yum.repos.d and use CentOS AppStream instead?, at least until SDL AppStream is more populated?
