We had a great planning meeting on Wednesday and came up with many ideas and a game plan for art piece(s)/seating at the p-patch entrance. Notes are attached (thanks to Mel). The following is a rough schedule for the project:
- Mid-July: Community potluck/meeting to review initial designs, generate more ideas, and choose favorite concepts.
- End July: Art planning group (everyone welcome) put together a design incorporating ideas from meeting and send out for feedback.
- August: Finalize design based on feedback and create budget.
- Mid-August: Gather materials and raise funds if necessary.
- September: Complete project with artists and community.
Please let me know if you would like to help with the planning. We'd like to get more of the community involved, so encourage your friends and neighbors to come to the next meeting/potluck at the p-patch in July.
