Thanks all for all the work. Thanks especially to Stephen and Lisa for the great job presenting.

Here are some proposals and feedback based on the run through and the comments we received from the professors. I have the major thought as a bullet point, and a key quote below (written and for the briefing book).

Clarifications

Clarify Focus on Sex-Work

- "We are focusing on sex work because it is the most pervasive form of human trafficking in the UK."

Clarify Problem: Information

- "There are three main challenges for addressing human trafficking in London: 1) Lack of Collaboration within Government and NGO's 2) 2) Ongoing Demand 3) A Culture of Criminalization.

- "All of these problems are related to a lack of information and knowledge."

"Our policy proposals focus on providing meaningful information and knowledge to the government, to NGOs, and to the public"

Clarify Evaluative Criteria

- "Many proposals exist to reduce sex-trafficking. However, many of them, like improved legislation, are outside the Mayor's control.  The policies we propose are 1) Increase Knowledge 2) Are Feasible and 3) Align with the Mayor's Mission"

Recommendations

Synthesize to 3 Recommendations

"Based on our analysis, we recommend the following proposals:

1) Specialized John Interview  (Increases operational information)
2) Mayoral Advisor for Human Trafficking (Promote knowledge-sharing among agencies)
3) Public Awareness Campaign (Improves Public Knowledge)

(or other proposals, but max 3 top ones)

Leave Option Open For Additional Recommendations

" In addition to these main proposals, we have outlined a suite of policy options the Mayor can pursue with additional resources. These include..."

Specific Fixes

Simplify Slides

- Titles need to project main point. Erase the section headers. Ex: "Sex-Trafficking is a Problem in London" "We are losing intelligence", etc.

- Pit Chart Graph (slide 7) and Bar chart (slide 11) too busy. Delete all text besides title.

- Delete Footnotes

- Stronger last Slide (Why is this good for you?) (Consistent with your image as leader of a global leader, and continuation of previous message made in the Olympics.

I just saw Dan's email and am about to take a look.

Thanks all!
