Hi,

I'm just curious what the 'lft' and 'rgt' attributes for taxons are
for. It's pretty cool that Spree::Taxon.rebuild! takes care of it for
you, but I figure I should get an understanding of their
functionality. I'm pretty sure it's to define the tree structure
somehow, but I just can't put my fingers on it. It seems like the
parent id should be sufficient. Anyways, any advice would be
appreciated!

Thanks in advance for your time. And again, great product guys and
gals!

I just google for "lft rgt" and the first link is:

Pretty simple, yeah?
