4/1/23 update (for real!)

thanks for your interest in spread the word(list)! we've just updated to include q1, 2024. download the lowercase list here and the uppercase list here.

with this update, our wordlist now has 299,952 answers, with 108,709 scored 50 or higher. this represents an addition of over 5,000 words scored at 50 since last update!

some highlights, now ranked at 50 or higher: CBT, VAX, AAPI, JAIHO, PTOWN, BIGBOI, HOTJAZZ, ONIGIRI, SAPPHIC, CLAWCLIP, QUEERLIT, SEANPAUL, BARTRIVIA, BRIDESMEN, IGSTORIES, IMJUSTKEN, MADAMEWEB, TWINFLAME, WEMISSYOU, DOUBLETEXT, PARTYTRICK, WHALESONGS, HOLYCANNOLI, LUCKYNUMBER, REDENVELOPE, DIGITALDETOX, GROUPTHERAPY, YOUVEGOTTHIS, LASHEXTENSIONS, SLEEPOVERPARTY, and YOUSHALLNOTPASS!

good news: this quarter, we've added a bunch of new answers because we're now separating out themed and themeless puzzles from some venues that run both.

bad news: unfortunately, we can no longer source from the modern due to lack of xword-dl support.

remember, our scores are entirely cleanliness-based, and our system is largely automated. of course, please don't hesitate to let us know about anything offensive or nonsensical/thematic that you find.
