Closing down the Spreadsheet::WriteExcel Google Group

Hi,

The Spreadsheet::WriteExcel Google Group has been useful to people at times since it was set up in March 2004:

However, Spreadsheet::WriteExcel is now in maintenance mode and its replacement, Excel::Writer::XLSX, is mature and stable. Also question rarely get asked or answered on here anymore.

So, from January 2017 I am going to turn the group into a read-only forum and direct any new questions to StackOverflow:

Any new questions in the interim should also be directed there.
