First off, bowling last night was awesome! Between twelve players and 30 games we managed to crack a high score of 131! As the high scorer, Nick Brown will be receiving next year's chairmanship of SPPUD. Congratulations!
Second, even though I am not planning any other SPPUD events this semester, Nick Sanyal is setting up a casual potluck for December 4 or 5, and Sandra is considering a more formal dinner/SPPUD fundraiser for faculty and students sometime around the 12th (basically she would furnish the site, her husband and SPPUD would cook and collect money from faculty). We can discuss Sandra's party idea at our next meeting. Details on Nick's potluck are forthcoming.
