An article in the recent APA Planning magazine: < Bad Gas or Natural
Gas > (
http://www.planning.org/planning/2009/oct/badgas.htm) describes
how planning can assist in ecological, economic and social impact
assessment, both shorta and long term and tie the different levels in
regulations. Even though the subject is the impact of natural gas
exploration in Wyoming and Colorado, the scope of the article is very
broad, and gives a great example of what bioregional planning can
mean.
