64-bit OS

Hi there,

We have had a few enquiries re: using SpotCloud for large instances (8+ cores, 16GB+). The showstopper for us is the lack of a 64-bit OS being available as one of the SpotCloud standard instance offerings.

Is there any plan to offer 64-bit CentOS 5.6? Or Ubuntu 10.10/10.04 any time soon?

We don't have any short term plans to add 64-bit OSs to our list of sample images but there should be no issue running 64-bit OSs on any SpotCloud provider. You can find our tool for creating SpotCloud compatible appliances here: http://www.spotcloud.com/SpotCloud-CLI-an.46.0.html
