Hello everyone.

Today i got to know about this project and it is very interesting for me.
I have 8 blade servers free and it would be great to make money one it.
I have some question after first project review:

1. Is it strict rule to have 500+ Gb hard disk capacity per node? I have only 2x146 and it is not possible to upgrade it.
2. Is managment node part of full selling capacity? If it is not, I cannot find requirements for machine, logically it should be different with agent's one. And in this case, can i join the agent and management roles in one machine?

Thank you very much!

Hi,

No this isn't a strict requirement, and yes, both the management and
agent processes can execute on the same node. Although, it's
recommended that you execute these on separate physical hosts.

Hello Adam, thank you for the answer!

Before i try to sell the capacity i would like to clarify few other very important questions for me:

1. How sellers protected from illigal content on VM based on their machines? Is there any rules for buyers?
2. Is it possible to know financial statistic of the platform? How many transactions was made during some period of time, scope of them and something like that?

Thank you!

Hi,

Part of the flexibility is that buyers can run whatever they want.
There is no screening process involved when a buyer uploads a package.
However, you can report illegal activity or other types of system abuse
to us:

https://spotcloud.appspot.com/terms
http://dl.enomaly.com/abuse

Once buyers start consuming capacity from your platform, you'll see a
very granular level of each financial transaction made by the hour.

Hope this helps,

Adam
