API returns no data (also spotsh)

I thought I was having problems with the python spotsh script, but debugging I found that all the API calls I tried return NOTHING.  I can list instances, but nothing else.  Same response using spotsh and direct API calls.

Is anyone working on this?  The website is a very tedious way to manage usage!

Listing appliances and providers were both failing.  I think the issue with appliances is that it only intends to list private appliances -- the public appliances are not a subset of this list but a different API call completely.  Providers I have no luck at all, however.
