I am attempting to model an L-Shaped building given that I am limited to rectangular shapes. In particular, I am not clear on how to approach the modeling of the spaces at the inside corner of the L.
The building is open office concept with no space partitions in the vicinity of the inside corner of the L.
In my naivety I started out modeling with the intention of modeling 2 long rectangles and adding interior blocks along the transverse axis separating each leg of the L. Then I realized that I can't model an interior wall as a block running on a 45° angle.
Now I am pondering two approaches, both of which ignore the "light sharing" at the inside corner spaces:
- Model one long rectangle and one short rectangle.
- Model three rectangles - a square, and two rectangles.
