I'd love to start working on a spot, but I can't find a good source
for the radio module. I can buy them direct from Hope for only $4/pc,
but shipping is $40. This brings the cost to around $25/pc if only
buying two or three. Anyone know of a better way to get them?

This is what I don't get, they change the quote for the shipping every week. I've been quoted $20 shipping one week, and $25 the next. Now you are saying $40... What's going on?!

Or... you can get a atmega328+rfm12b on a convenient stick:
http://shop.jeelabs.com/products/jeenode-kit
Which is what i'm gonna do!

That's weird. My shipping was $10. It took almost a month to get
delivered but still, it was cheap. That's what I asked for, actually.

Ok, so I replied to my contact at Hope, and he said that he can ship
standard airmail for $15 also. If ordering 5 modules, that only adds
$3 to each one. So I think I may be on board with this now.
