Hi,
I try to connect a Hasselblad D-Flash 40 to the Radiopopper JrX which
is working the same way as the SPOT - so my problem might be
intresting for some of you here as well. I managed to connect Nikon
speedlights (very easy) and a Metz 60-ct1 to the system - but the D-
Flash seems to be a bit mor difficult. The flash has a ttl-cord. I
cutted of the plug of this cord and got six wires: blank, yellow, red,
white, blue, green. I found out that blank is ground, yellow is fire
and red is control lamp. So I think that white, blue or green must be
quench. I tried every wire without success. Maybe I made a tiny
mistake while soldering the connectin, but I don´t think so. Now I git
some questions:
- Could it be that hasselblad is using another quench signal? For
example they open the contact instead of closing it? And if it´s so,
would it be possible to change the software of the SPOT in this way
that it would work with the D-Flash?
- Does anybody here knows a specialist for the D-Flash40?
- Has anyone a circuit plan of the D-Flash40?
Any help would be welcome.
Thanks
Tim
