WTF happened to free data for the masses

So the only usable website Killersports.com now wants to charge $80/month to do querying for analysis does anybody want to work with me on setting up another website?  This is ridiculous

Its $39 per month for 200 systems per sport.  That should be plenty unless you are really heavy into this

If you use more than 200 systems per sport, then you should be playing at a level that justifies the expense

I'm started trying to learn Python when they announced the change last summer, as all my predictions unfortunately came true... Big dumb buttons, web graphics and a fractionally functional database compared to before all to become a pay site. I would be very interested in researching an alternative... Yep sorry to see this, killer has made is so you can't copy data or do any simple table search without the $79 plan, which excludes me.  May be time to brush up on SDQL3

There is an API for s3 provided by Joe. I do not recall the cost. You could definitely create excel spreadsheets with that API. I do not recall the price of the API per month, but I am pretty certain it was offered at $79.00 per month. I'll reach out to him and see what the cost is and feel free to reach out to hi on your own, too.  Action Network provides an annual subscription and the ability to create systems too and that is $129.00 for a year and includes betting tickets and handles percentages data.

Yeah, I'm a little disappointed with the transition. 

I only have about 5 or 6 "systems". Does the BASIC or PRO PLAN cover for these?

Went to the "sign up" site. Only "PREMIUM" is available to be activated. 

What can a customer do who wants to sign up, but cant afford the $80 a month Premium Service.

I'd like access to my systems. 

Know there are tech problems when there's a transition. 

Hope the BASIC and PRO services become active soon.

Not good to have systems that are laying dormant.

gimmethedog.com is a very versatile and very viable but best of all FREE OF CHARGE. Create as many sdql queries as you want and store them on the site for free. Get all the assistance you can need to help you create your own queries from an sdql master ALL FOR FREE. Don’t despair the dog is there. Also a fully functional Discord server is what you need.

yes, they will work on gimmethedog and they have dozens more parameters in the sports, especially football.  Some additional shortcuts as well.   and the data is clean.  It matches my database almost everytime and when it doesn't it is only the difference one one or two games I the records.

Ed, that is sad.  I  am a recreational bettor who bets $7 units, so paying for access to the Sports Database does not make a bit of sense.  If the data is THAT useful, the proprietors of KS and GTD would be rolling in dough and would not need to exploit the public.  The same could be said about the touts.

well as a 30-year pro bettor, it takes a lot of money to sustain the databases I use and I am sure it is a significant cost for them as well. Server expenses are not cheap so in my world I do not charge a lot for y picks and I have a proven highly profitable track record spanning 30 years. charging a few bucks for a monthly subscription helps to offset the expenses and the time I put into my comprehensive research reports aimed at teaching the bettor and showing them I great detail why it is. abest bet opportunity. So, paying me as a consultant basically and answering any questions they have is what they are paying for - at least in my business world.

If you get an error again, you need to let Malwarebytes know the site is safe. I use the same software. in Malwarebytes settings you can tell it that the gimmethedog site is safe.

Gimmethedog is not charging any price $0.00 and is not planning to charge anytime in the near future is my understanding. You can build as many queries and also save them all for free as you wish. I have close to 600 already stored myself: Just click the "Save Query button. See 2nd image. There is also a click button in the saved queries that will run and display all queries pertaining to "Run Today's Active Queries" on the saved queries screen. See 1st image...

Fair enough.  You deserve to be compensated for your time, effort and expenses - especially since I have NO idea how difficult the data entry is.

Howver, someone running 14 queries a day does not put nearly as much strain on the servers as 200 queries do.  Maybe they could get a substantial discount like students and seniors often do.

seriously?    Whoever stated that killer sports should not charge a dime when I know personally just how much cpaital is required to run such an operation and then tying in touts, who charge money becasue they cannot win on their own. I respectively disagree with you . Gimme is better, has clearne more accurate data,. and the other site looks and feels better but Gimme has more parameters in every sports than Killers and has complete NUMPY capabilities

Let's do some simple math.  1,850 x $9 x 12 = $199,800.  I bet 10% of your followers would be willing to pay $9/month for access to the Sports Database.  I also bet that would cover "just how much cpaital [sic] is required to run such an operation."  You would certainly engender a LOT more goodwill that way.

No, I just did a projection thinking he might be able to grab a lot of clients if it was only $9/month.  If he charges $50/month he will have mostly high rollers; somebody betting $500 units can easily cover $50/month because it is only 1/10 of a unit and fairly inconsequential.  There are not that many high rollers so only a few people will be able to benefit from all the time and trouble it takes to run the Sports Database.  Those of betting $7 or $10 units will be shut out.

There are services out there like mine that charge 2500 for 12 months all access and I assure you please who bet 50 to 200 for a regular bet make money every year.  also, even guys who bet 25 per game have gotten my $50 per week or my special $100 for a month of just football and done quite well.

Obviously use the free service over the one that is trying to charge a ridiculous amount. The owner of GTD is 1000 times more down to earth than the KS owners as well. For the last time, I am not here to sell anything but to help people with NUMPY and SDQL. Running databases, updating them, cleaning the data for 100% accuracy requires time, staff, and money, and just happen to know that as a fact of the business. Use Gimmethedog which is better and far more accurate (clean data) then any other site I am aware of.    Action network I think charges $89.00 for the year (12 months) and has betting handle ad ticket percentages which is a valuable pair of parameters not available yet and I emphasize YET on gimmethedog.   

I have cashed in dozens of sports betting contests including he last two Circa Millions and it is because of numbers and data and analytics. I encpoursge anyone interested in this to continue by using Gimmethedog and explore the infinite space called analytics - just don't use them like Eagles Head coach Soriani
