I understand these variables are the “Vegas consensus”. Does that mean this is the last available line, averaged vegas line, or other?

Thanks

Great question Jake,
I am not sure if all of the sports books listed as parameters on the S3 sportsdatbase and GimmeTheDog dot com site are 100% updated, but if you look at this page you will many sportsbooks opening and closing lines. I will reach out to GimmeThe Dog and Joe Meyer to see if they have been updated and will be updated each week of the season. In the past the lines did change during the week ahead of any game.

Thanks for reply I truly appreciate the response. It seems that 'line' and 'total' variables are the most populated when going back in time (~2005 for NFL). Things such as "line mgm, line wyn, line mir, line pb, etc" are much more sporadically populated. I'm more specifically wondering which sportsbook (or multiple) is the "line" and "total" derived/scraped from. Wish you the best of luck in the upcoming season.
