This is probably the simplest, easiest, most effective animated drill/play designer I've ever used...

Is there ANY chance that you could work on porting the program from Android to PC?

I have a tablet that I use, but I'm looking for a way to create and catalog all of my drills at home.  I've tried several programs (both free and for fee) and there is always some glitch/hangup that I just can't work around...

It's too the point where I'm actually using PowerPoint to try and create animated drills.  And I can't tell you how painstaking and annoying that is.

If this were on my PC, it'd be easier to create and catalog my drills, and then I could send them to my team at home for them to see, and then have it on my laptop or tablet to bring to the rink.

Please (PLEASE!!!) consider creating this awesome app as a true computer program.

Thanks,

Derrick, desperate coach

Yes, I am working on it but have a few things to get to before it.  Hopefully will have something in the coming months.

I second...third...and fourth the request for a PC version or web based. This is a great app and would love to use it to get my team ready and have them study set plays we have worked on at training sessions. Is there anyway to port the animation to another application that would allow me to make it available to my players?

Thanks for the request.  I do plan to make a desktop version in the next few months but I could probably quickly make up a 'viewer' web page that would allow users to upload plays for viewing online.  Lets see what I can whip up.

One point worth noting, the free version of the app is also a viewer (it can open plays but not make them) but does require the team members to have a device.  Let me look into the feasibility and will post something back shortly

I added in a simple play viewer.  Not a lot of options, just upload the animation and click play but it does the trick.  Let me know if it works out, it is a bit beta right now.

You mention having a viewer on your website.  What is the url for the website?

You should see a tab at the top called Play Viewer.  It is in flash so you need flash plugin installed in your browser.  You can also download a windows installer for the viewer for a local viewer by downloading the zip at the bottom.  Check back for updates when the android app gets updated.

Just want to add my vote for this feature. It would be great to draw plays at my desk then display on my phablet at the rink!
Keep up the good work!

Trying to carve out some time to get to it.  There is a lot to do.  I am working on a new app release with more features that I feel will be more complete and then move to desktop.  Next feature will save doodles and text with animation so you can have drawings or text accompany the animation.  User can choose on loading a play whether to show the drawing with the animation.  One of the most requested features, it can also serve as a play markup tool as well.

I have just updated the windows app.  It is not as extensive just yet, still more of a viewer but some key highlights:

- now landscape
- adjust speed of animation
- option to record a video (is a bit slow now but does generate an FLV video that can be uploaded to YouTube)
