Hello,

I have basketball dood for my new android tablet and I absolutely love it. It is much better than the other coaching clipboard apps on Google Play and I would like to commend the developers on a great app. However, there are a few updates that I (and im sure others) would love to see.

First would be more organizational tools for plays & formations. For example, currently we cannot edit the names of formations or plays after they are saved. To piggyback on that feature, it would be awesome to have maybe a "long hold" feature, where if the user pressed on and held a play or formation, then a pop-up men would appear with options such as export/Share/edit/rename/Move etc.

Furthermore, a more structural look to the formations/plays menu would be neat. By this, I am referring to an ability to create Folders & sub-folders, therefore making it More of a playbook. You could be able to navigate between formations and such much easier.

Lastly, I think preset options would help The flow of the app. For example, an option to start a new play that automatically Presents a certain court view, with optionally a ball with × Amount of players, cones, etc. Also, if you open a play/formation it would be nice to set a pre-determined view (half court, full).

I've been using This app alot and have even donated to your cause because I use this app so often. Hope we can get Some discussion going!

Thanks,
Tarik

1. I can look into this and add it to feature request list.
2. Structured agreed is a nice approach.  One way to do it is to use drop box to save plays to.  You can sort your plays any way you want within folders on dropbox and then use dropbox to open plays.  This also keeps a backed up copy on the web and allows you to share folders with other players / coaches.  You can use the local App DB for quick access
3. Need to understand this a bit further, can you email a follow via form at  http://sportsdood.com/contact/  Currently formations are good but only save players and not objects (balls pylons etc).  Court transformations aren't saved, the issue there is how you manage that on a device that rotates from portrait / landscape mode.  Maybe I could add ability to assign your own transformations to buttons but need to give it more thought.

Cheers
