Hey guys I finally got spore, I also got simcity 4 has anyone had any
issues with running it on XP with kaspersky? It is blocking it from
accessing the cd.

No idea what karpersky is, so I wouldn't have a clue.

Also, I recently downloaded that promotional robot parts pack this
month. (I have yet to get my copy of Spore operational after I
installed it)

Oh, and bought a PS3 for a decent price recently. LBP is.. fun. ;)

Alas, with all of our attempts to keep the community alive and well, I
must say that I think the pod has run out of oxygen. I know that I
certainly am busy with much too much life to pour myself into any
major projects at the moment.

Of course, everyone is welcome here anytime, so do not give up hope
completely, just don't expect everything to magically appear the next
time you log on.

I will say that certain others have invested some time and effort in
creating a new home, but I probably shouldn't say who or what because
this person probably doesn't want to be pressured or pestered. In the
meantime, we can all continue to be members of this group. If you no
longer log in here I'd suggest subscribing to email updates in case we
are rescued from our sad little craft adrift in the void.

Hey guys. I feel like you deserve an update.
Yorpy pretty accurately discribed a dilemma that I am having myself. I
am also just "busy with much too much LIFE" at the moment. I would
have thought that after my finals I'd have time to do things that I
want to do. The truth is I have even less time. The economy sucks, and
I was without a job for quite a while. But... now I have 2 jobs...
mwahahaha :D

Anyway, back on topic:

Before I get your hopes up that rescue is near, I want to be very
honest with you. Because so far, we have nothing. We have no new page
or anything close to it. What we do have is a lot of ideas. We have a
pretty accurate idea of what the new site is going to be about. All we
need now is time to realize these ideas.

I think I can say on behalf of all the refugees that we're still
interested in creating a new place for out community. I mean, I really
miss the Sporeum. But like I said, it takes time.

The sea of internet crap needs its island back! =)

time by by passing the spore? :)

Yes That is what I have been hearing and seeing, but don't you think
you could change that? Either that, or think of something else that is
fun. Not just to you relyt0462, but to anybody who cares. Don't just
do it for the entertainment, but do it for uncle Newt. Pay tribute to
your predeccesor (whatever that means) Do it for me. Here look, theres
a smiley, see, it actually smiles. That is what I would feel if we had
some fun around here. Besides, we don't talk about spore most of the
time anyhow, we just write some dumb jokes for cheap entertainment.
