I've played recently, but I had to reinstall Windows so I don't have it installed right now. I'm sad that there no longer appears to be plans for expansions, but it is fun for a silly romp once in a while. :)

I've been at it occasionally, but the most I've been in is the editors, and that's for the occasional contest on the Sporem. (I managed to make Rat Fink in one of'm, even)

Usually though, when I've played adventures/the main game, with all the loading of the creations and the lagginess of the game itself such, its kinda hard. :(

Oh, and recently, I've seen a downloadable game EXE (no installer) called Kerbal Space Program. Their editor looks similar to Spore's, and the various (failed) launch videos around the internet look hilarious. XD

I can't remember why, but I stumbled across the Kerbal space program website and I got a glimpse of what kind of potential that might hold. I honestly think any of the epic experiences that we were initially assigned to Spore are going to be actually delivered by a low budget indie developer. Just my opinion anyway. PC gaming's future appears to be in indie devs like Mojang, ACE team, Frictional Games and the like. Can't say I'm dissapointed. I really like underdogs! :)

But I still likes me some AAA if they do it right. (Fingers crossed, Mass Effect 3.)

Yup, still remember. (although I don't usually get to much on Spore-related stuff these days (I think stuff is still going, though)) It'd be nice when/if a Spore 2 comes out, it'd address issues from the first without alot of hiccups.

[related, but slightly off-topic; I'm kinda concerned about the supposed lack of major terraforming in the new SimCity]

Oh, and yeah, I play LOTRO, Newt. Do you have steam? My new handle just about everywhere is: Eleos, so look me up if you have steam.

If anyone else is interested give us updates on what games you are playing/how we can reach you.
