Hi,

I'm trying to make a picture quiz without it being a slideshow game type, but seem to be having trouble. I have tried entering the image url from photobucket inside an '<img src="">' tag as stated in the FAQ on Sporcle.com, but haven't had any luck. Am I to apply this tag in the hint box on game data, or should it be placed in the 'add media' box on the game options page?

I know the solution will be really simple, but in this instance, I would appreciate the answer/instructions you provide to be quite thorough.

Thanks in advance to anyone that helps :)

Picture box quizzes - which is what you are describing,8 believe - are not a feature available to the average user. However you could compile all your images into one large image and make it into a map quiz and leave a small open space below each picture to have the answers appear.

Correct; only a handful of people can make picture box/image quizzes (mostly admins). The workaround razorz has suggested is one solution, and another is to simply make the image in photoshop or some such, upload it to photobucket or imgur or another image site, and embed it at the top of a classic quiz. It's not the same as an image quiz, but it does the job.

I see, a map quiz, you say. I will have a play around with that game style. So when creatign a map quiz are there options to select where your answers appear when typed?

Thank you, this info is helpful! :)

Your solution is one I have come across before and is another possible way around my problem. Thank you.

Do you have any idea where I'm going wrong in relation to making a classic quiz with images, like it states in the FAQ page under the 'can I create image quizzes' question on Sporcle.com (here: http://www.sporcle.com/faq.php#sporcleu).

There are definitely options like that. I suggest checking out the map quiz tutorial on the Sporcle blog here. That will answer most questions you could have; as for your other question...I'm not sure what you mean. Like I said, actual image quizzes can only be made by admins; for the quiz type I suggested, you'd make the image and embed it at the top of the page (under the options tab when editing) and otherwise make a classic quiz.

Map quizzes are generally the best way to go about doing the picture box style quizzes nowadays, but the old single embedded image at the top does still work if you prefer that. I've got both types, so to give you a clear example of what I mean:
