Tigers Quiz idea up for grabs:
This idea just arose from the
goofy-idea-center of my brain, and I don't know how well it would go
over, it could be a hit or miss. Apart from its oh-so-cute-title, the
quiz itself should be workable and feasible.
I don't have the time to make it, so if anyone wants to, it's yours (but you should post below that you plan to, if so).
It
would be a clickable quiz, with a field of correct answers along with
numerous decoys -- surnames of players who were relatively well-known
from
other teams along with a few lesser-knowns.
The
title: "Tony the Detroit Tiger" -- so if the powers-that-be at that
Tigers website have a sense of humor, it could strike a chord, who
knows.
Players would have to pick the surnames of all of the players named Tony who actually did play for the Tigers.
I
can't say this is necessarily the best source for correct answers, but
it could work for starters if it is verified (do a control+F for
"Tony"):

option could also be to restrict the quiz to a more recent era (say,
"since 1960")... if any of the older real players would be too obscure.
If anyone does claim the idea and wants pre-contribution testing, I'll help out, just e-mail me. :)
