WPS network setup

Hi Dude,

I really need this answer, very seriously. How do I set up a WPS network in my linksys router? Do let me know what are the necessary things I need to do and how do I proceed, cos I need to use it for one of my electronic device.

Hello Steven,

there're two ways to set up WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Security):
one is using setup menu Router's console and the other is using PIN
that the latter is for using game console and i hope your intention
should meet with the first one.
As steps are involved and due to different scenerios in different
models, i'll not mention here.
I would like you to check on the following knowledge Base link from

Hi steven,

I think your linksys router will come with the manual cd for how to
configure your router.
Most of SOHO router comes with manual cd. So u can read and do what u
want.
But if u r not sure how to configure by reading that manual, send me
the manual with mail and
I think I could guide u how to take.

Thanks ma sint.. that's a great help. Unfortunately, the router is not mine and it is a very old one. The owner might probably lost all the manuals.
