Amadeus is the software which is used in the Travel Industry
especially for Airlines and Travel agents. There are total of 4
softwares where Amadeus is one of them. So what Amadeus actually
does ???

Well, Amadeus is used to check the flight information, visa
requirements, currency exchange and different time zones.

However, one of the GDS system inside the link ( Worldspan ) is no
longer in today world. Instead, Abacus is appeared and now Abacus and
Amadeus are leading the world of GDS system.

Note: There are four different softwares that are in the GDS system.
They are Abacus, Amadeus, Galileo and Sabre.
Abacus and Amadeus are commonly used in Asia. Sabre is the very famous
software in North America and it is used by the Expedia (the biggest
internet-based travel reservation website in United States of
America). And Galileo is not very famous after all.
