to F2F Computing
Hi all,
the work of a lot of you is or was involved with improving F2F
Computing.
As you all have nearly finished your practical part of your theses (or
you just still are intersted in it), it is time to put things together
and do some little bonding for an initial F2F community.
I therefore declare the first Friend-to-Friend Computing Hackathon for
May 10th and 11th in L2-311 (I am trying to get the network computer
class to simulate some complex network setups).
I would like to ask all people involved with F2F Computing or feeling
bonded to it to take part in this event. If you are writing a thesis
for us and can't come, please give me a note with a good excuse.
We will do all the things people expect nerdy programmers to do: eat
fast food, pizza, chips, and drink coke and lemonade - and of course -
hack, crunch bugs, and integrate our wonderful software.
I suggest a core time from 11:00 to 19:00 on both days.
However, I will try to make the first day open ended.
I hope we get a nice and exciting weekend and thereby finalize the
practical parts of all your theses.
Best,
Ulrich
