Attached is the updated documentation for Sponsorship Department, any changes I will update here.

Our Work Timeline*:

• Kick-Start Calling Session Together : 23rd July 2012**
• Deadline to approach sponsors : 10th August 2012
• Follow up 1 : 13th - 17th August 2012
• Aidilfitri Break : 18th - 26th August 2012
• Follow up 2 : 27th - 29th August 2012
• Follow up 3 (Passive-Exam week/Sem Break) : 30th August - 5th September 2012  
• Deadline to hand in deposit (sponsors-50%) : 6th September 2012 
• Consideration time (if sponsor late) : 6th - 14th September 2012

Could I pass by SSSD on the above mentioned date, within the time that was set? But after my classes? I mean I will probably be available at 12pm. The other periods of time clash with classes.

Would it bother? Either way will try the best to be there before 12pm if possible.

Assalam/Hi,

InsyaAllah today (30th JULY 2012) we can start calling the sponsors. There some point and info that you guys have to take into account while calling the sponsor. After a meeting with HICOM, here our job and some info:

1. Most of the villagers are a single mothers (>100)
2. There are some single fathers.
3. The amount of people working in the village (Kg. Tanjung Aur) is less that 10.
4. They work as a farmer (paddy) and the only place for them to work is the paddy field.
5. Try to get sponsor from Jabatan Pertanian (agriculture office) some fertilizer for their paddy field.
6. They really need beras (rice) and sugar. At least 5kg each for about 100++ people for rice.
7. Try to get gas sponsor, for cooking
8. Any used furniture to be sponsored would be great.
9. Try to get sponsor for paint (white color) because we will have an activity to paint the tombstone (batu nisan)- the villagers asked.

And the most important thing, don't send the Marketing Proposal yet as I will make some changes. Just collect the information from the company (email, Person In Charge-extension number for follow up). When to email this MP will be inform later because I will add the villagers demography and also our activities with the villagers.

Just a reminder, this coming week will be the last week for approaching the sponsor as being planned in our timeline which is 10th August 2012(Friday), and I hope u guys can finish up the list that I have assign for u!

For the time being I can see the work progress from hafiez, hidayatul, shaza and kecik only. So I really hope Ammar, Nadzmir and Quercia can update the work progress at Approach Sponsor Update thread (Kecik and hafiz pls post your work progress also). Pls guys, strive for it!

No one is exceptional for approaching the sponsor. and still, don't put ur study aside ya.

Assalam/Hi,

Tomorrow we will start send our Marketing Proposal and/or any documentation that the sponsor asked. I will print out hard copy of our MP and Event Proposal and will put at the SSSD so that it can be fax to the companies according to their request (sent by email or fax). For the send through email, I will finalize the MP and will upload by tomorrow.

For the official letter, I still waiting for the secretary to finalize it. Once the letter are already finalize, I will upload and print so that can be email or fax.

Okay for approaching via email,

U  guys have to attach only 3 things, which is Marketing Proposal, Reply Letter and Sponsors Cover Letter. Email Body content that I have attached earlier have to copy and paste in ur email body field. Then u have to change the Sponsors Cover Letter to whom u are pointing to if u have the name of PIC, the department and lastly the company name.

eg : To: Mr. Yeoh

            Public Affairs Department

            PadiBeras Nasional Bhd.

And the subject for the email is " .[The Kasih Project] Charity Project Sponsorship Invitation "

Lastly, pls DELETE our reference in the Sponsors Cover Letter.
