Dear Guinea Pig Sponsors:

Well, we did it. We raised over 10,000. In fact, we have raised $10,191.80! I'll admit, I had thoughts of stopping the blog once we reached 10,000. It's such a perfect number to mark a successful run. But we can't stop now! There are so many guinea pigs in need of help, and with just a few hours of my time each month, and a few dollars of yours, we really can make a difference.

Why don't we meet December's piggy, and get a start on making that difference :)

December's piggy is from a new rescue in NJ, Helping All Little Tails. I first learned of this rescue when my friend Kristen adopted a lethal from them. This month's pig isn't a lethal, but a senior. He wants to find his forever home, but it's looking like it may be the rescue. So we want to pamper Cocoa in his old age.

One of the most significant differences we can make is to provide Cocoa with a C&C cage (visit cavycages.com if you're unfamiliar with these revolutionary new cages). It's akin to giving someone a complete home makeover, including extension! In Cocoa's old age he deserves to putter around in style.

I can supply the grids for the cage, so all we're looking for is the coroplast--if anyone is local to NJ and would like to make arrangements to get a 2x4 sheet to Cocoa, let me know! Donations for Coco's coro are also accepted.

So there's December's piggy!

And let me close by wishing you a happy holidays, whatever you may celebrate, and wishing my mom a happy birthday!

Cheers to all of you,

Shevaun Brannigan
