Is this mailing list the best way to submit a random feature request? Anyway, here goes.
If I want to recommend something via email, it pops up a form to fill out. I would rather it opened my default email program for mailto: which I have gone to a lot of trouble to ensure is Gmail. This way I have access to my Gmail contacts, the message does into my Gmail archives, etc.

I took a shortcut and used a third-part Share widget for this. I've
got it on the to-do list to implement something better.
