May GreenDrinks @ Manito Tap House w/ Sierra Club & Beyond Coal!

Hello GreenDrinkers!

Next tuesday, May 14th, join us *on the patio* at the extremely
popular Manito Tap House, 3011 S. Grand Boulevard. The Tap House is
a locally owned eco-friendly gastropub that serves scratch-made food,
features 50 tap handles (with an emphasis on craft brews), pours
Northwest wines and serves a full bar of spirits. Enjoy drink and
appetizer specials for GreenDrinkers! We'll start around 5:30 and go
until whenever!

This month we are partnering with the Sierra Club and the Beyond Coal
campaign.

Did you know that Spokane, our pristine little corner of the world,
could become Big Coal's dirty conveyor belt? It's true. If multi-
national coal companies have their way, the entire state will be
turned into a coal shipping zone, threatening our health and quality
of life. Spokane would bear the brunt as the rail crossroads of the
region. But our community has joined others across the Northwest,
with tens of thousands of citizens who are organizing to oppose coal
exports. Learn more about how a boom in coal train traffic would
affect our community and how together we can prevent it. Crystal
