I responded to a post earlier today, and it isn't posted. Can someone
tell me what I'm doing wrong? Thanks,

Meloni

I see that I have a reply button on this new topic I created, but the
only button I have when attempting to reply to other topics is to the
Reply to Author button.

Mel,

I think I've fixed the problem.  I received an email of your post in the introductions thread yesterday, but when I went to the group to check the thread there, your message didn't appear.  I did some digging and changed one of the message settings.  Before, it was set so that the person responding to elect to send a message only to the original poster, or to the whole group.  I thought the default was to post on the group (which would forward emails to all the members based on how they elect to receive messages), but apparently that wasn't the case.

I've changed the setting so that now all messages get posted to the group.  Each member can set how they want to receive messages -- an email each time a message is sent, one daily email containing each message (Digest mode), or a daily Abbreviated Digest, with links to the messages.  There's also a setting for no emails at all, which means that unless you go online and check the group, you won't know what's being discussed.

So are the previous posts fixed as well because I don't want to clog
your inbox with my "name tag". =)

Sorry, but the previous posts didn't make it to the Google Group
Discussions List. Don't hestiate to re-post -- folks that don't want
multiple emails in their inbox can always subscribe to the Digest.

To help avoid messages being processed as junkmail, all messages from
this group will have the tag [SpokaneNaNoWriMo: #] preceding the
subject, which will distinguish them from any official Municipal
Liaison emails you receive from me which will be tagged something
like: [NaNoWriMo :: Spokane Region]
