Dear colleagues,

We are pleased to announce the online course Introduction to Occupancy Models with R, taking place 1–4 December.

Course website: https://www.physalia-courses.org/courses-workshops/occupancymodels/

This practical workshop will introduce participants to occupancy modelling in R, with a focus on imperfect detection, repeated detection–non-detection data, ecological and survey covariates, predictions, model assessment, and reproducible workflows.

Participants will work with the tsoccu and unmarked packages through live coding demonstrations, practical exercises, and ecological case studies.

No prior knowledge of occupancy models is required.

Best regards,

Carlo
