Clicking the SUBMIT FOR REVIEW button submits your proposal into institutional signature authorization routing*. It does not submit your proposal to the sponsor. Only the Director of Sponsored Programs is authorized to submit proposals to sponsors.

By clicking the "Submit for Review" button, you are starting the same review process that used to be accomplished on the Blue Sheet by hand and "sneaker-net".

The first person(s) to be notified after you click the "Submit for Review" button is the Sponsored Programs Office staff. That's when SPO staff will familiarize themselves with your proposal and begin the facilitation-to-sponsor-submission process. SPO and PI(s) then work together to ensure minimum requirements for institutional signature authorization routing are met.
