What if the selection committee awarded more than the originally advertised total?

The use-case for this situation is: The funding amount awarded by the selection committee is larger than the amount advertised because the Provost has granted additional funds after the competition was created in InfoReady and communicated to applicants. There is (currently) no way to break out originating funds from addition/augmented funds from another source in InfoReady. If it's critical to report separately on the originating funds and the augmented funds, create a separate competition. If it's OK to report on the combined funding amount then InfoReady won't prevent you from awarding each PI amounts that exceed the advertised total. In other words, if the competition is advertised as having only $20,000 in funds to award and 10 applicants are awarded amounts that exceed $20,000 InfoReady won't prevent you from doing that.

If you closed the competition before reading this, submit a Help Desk ticket to InfoReady requesting their development team edit the awarded amounts to each PI.
