I get an error message (screen) when I log into Kuali. What do I do?

Did you attempt to log into Kuali and you got an error message that begins with this?

HTTP Status 500 - You cannot log in, because you are not an active Kuali user.


Your profile data is not transferring from Kuali from CMS-HR. If you're brand new to CSUMB, you probably aren't in CMS-HR yet or your OtterID (CSUMB's userID) isn't assigned yet. Another possibility is that your employee status may not be "Active" yet. All these criteria are necessary for you to access to Kuali and other Sponsored Programs software.

Contact University Personnel (UP) to inquire about your CMS-HR profile data. SPO cannot add new users directly to Kuali. The list of authenticated (permitted) users comes from CMS-HR nightly.

Make sure you update your Email Addresses in CMS-HR. The On-Campus email address must be your @csumb.edu email address or you cannot log into Kuali.
