How do I delete or delink the wrong IP on an AWD record?

When you discover an incorrect IP attached to an AWD record, take these steps to undo (delink or unlink) it from the AWD:
  1. open the IP and initiate an edit (notice status of IP is 'Funded')
  2. navigate to the Institutional Proposal Actions tab
  3. expand the Funded Awards panel
  4. select the listed award and click 'unlock'
  5. go back to Institutional Proposal tab and notice the Status is already changed back to 'Pending'
  6. go back to Institutional Proposal Actions tab and 'submit' the record
