Happy Monday, SPN Families!
As winter sports officially wrap up for most of us, spring sports are stepping up to the starting line. Please read through this week's updates carefully, as we have a few moving pieces depending on how our 4th Grade Boys do in their tournament!
👟 Track & Field Kickoff (TODAY!)
The track season officially begins today, Monday, March 16, with practice from 5:30 – 7:00 PM.
Weather Update: Due to the weather, we have moved this first practice indoors to the Activity Center.
Coach Neil will go over season details and what to expect. The first meet is coming up sooner than we think! I will also be there to collect uniform sizes.
Not registered yet? The registration form is open until tonight. Feel free to come to practice tonight, get a feel for how the season will go, and sign up!
ACTION REQUIRED: If you plan to be on the track team but cannot attend tonight, you must let me know. I am ordering uniforms in the next couple of days and need to make sure you are included on that order.
🏀 4th Grade Boys Basketball
Our 4th-grade boys are battling it out in the St. Bernadette Tournament! They have practices scheduled at the gym this Tuesday and Friday from 4:30 – 6:00 PM.
Tournament Schedule: They play Christ the King on Thursday night, and then have a game on Saturday at 11:00 AM at Gross High School vs. TVOF.
The Pivot: If they continue to win, they will advance to the Championship game this coming Sunday. That game would happen at the exact same time as our End of Season Basketball Party. If they win, we will pivot and adjust the party start time so the team can attend. I will send out an update later this week to confirm!

The party is currently scheduled for this Sunday, March 22, from 12:00 – 2:00 PM.

⚽ Soccer & Athletic Department Updates
We are officially looking to bring Soccer back to St. Philip Neri in 2027!
To prepare for this and better manage our programs, I am reorganizing the Athletic Department into a new committee hierarchy.
I will be hosting a meeting soon to go over these changes and to recruit committee members. Keep a lookout for the announcement—you will not want to miss it!
