Back in October, Harvard Business Review launched a new experiment with its first Big Idea—a series of articles, case studies, assessments, and events around the research from Francesca Gino on what she calls Rebel Talent.

We’re pleased to announce our next Big Idea, launching next week, with Wharton professor Adam Grant and Wharton researcher Reb Rebele called Generosity Burnout.
Grant and Rebele will present fresh research that punctures conventional wisdom about giving your time, energy, and expertise to others at work. We all want to help others, but it turns out that you can be too selfless, and you may hurt the very people you’re trying to help. Grant and Rebele will show you how to avoid burnout and be a better giver at work.
