Thanks so much everyone for this work. My next major task will be running the item selection analyses, for which we need about half the standardization sample. We’ll see how close we are to that when we pull the numbers next.

 

As far as your next work, I’d like to suggest that you begin revising Chapter 3 of the manual, which will include creating the interpretative content for the three new age levels (I/T, Teen, Adult) as well as any revisions you’d like to make to the Preschool and Child age levels.

 

I can send you a document if you all think that’s a good next step. I know that will take a while to get done, so I thought we might start it sooner rather than later.

I think you have already started working on the case studies, yes? Those will form the last major section of chapter 3.

Hi John,

Update re Case studies:

Heather and I have each  written an Adult case.

Though initially I was going to review all the SPM-P cases (in the Chapter 3 you sent us) , I decided instead to update the 2 cases I had originally written (one for the SPM-Preschool and one for the SPM, now SPM-2 Child and Environments).

I went through the items and updated them to the tweaked items we have thus far (pre-data collection).

Ok — I think we've planned for a case study at every age level, but it can be whatever we want. There is a place holder in Chapter 3 for the entire case studies section.  I'll be sending chapter 3 along to you all soon.
