Split::Algorithm::WeightedSample

Hey guys, 

Can someone point me where I can understand more about the WeightedSample algorithm used?

Want to understand why it works well to distribute users when setting a percentage.

Hey Jose,

Probably the best place to look is just the source: https://github.com/andrew/split/blob/master/lib/split/algorithms/weighted_sample.rb.

It's a fairly clever implementation. Basically smashes together all the alternative weights, picks a random point along that continuum, and then determines which alternative it falls under.
