I know it isn't officially supported, but has anyone successfully
installed Splash running CFMX7?

The limitation with Splash is due to it being developed on CFWheels. Wheels required CF8 or higher so your not going to have much luck running it on 7 without almost completely re-writing it.

Railo 3.1 is also an option that will work if that helps:
