Ok so I've installed Splash in a subfolder in Railo. Created A DNS of splash created a database in mysql named  splash

path of directory in railo:
/opt/railo/tomcat/webapps/ROOT/splash

I'm using Mint Debian OS

I've mapped web.xml to:
 <url-pattern>/splash/index.cfm/*</url-pattern>

When I go to call splash in the browser I'm either getting an error message:

11: <cfparam name="params.slug" default="/">
12:
13: <cfset request.page = model('page').findOneBySlug(params.slug)>
14:
15: <cfif isObject(request.page) AND request.page.status is "published">

No Idea why or how to fix it so any help would be appreciated.

Thanks Dai

Managed to get slash to get to the admin but it won't migrate the DB?
Anyone know why that is?

Thanks Dai

in the splash directory is there a CFC folder?
You may need to map this to /cfc in Railo web admin
<your-server>/railo-context/admin/web.cfm?action=resources.mappings

Could not find any installation notes here
maybe there is something in the download - check for notes on installing to folder verses web root

I really need to find someone who is interested in taking over this project. Im not using ColdFusion anymore and I hate to see it go stagnant. It wouldn't really need alot. Primarily a better installation method (maybe an automated one?),  and testing it on the newer platforms like the new versions of Railo and CF10.

Anyone interested?

I don't mean to be rude and I know you are trying to be helpful but, this instruction is pretty vague (I'm new at coldfusion):

in the splash directory is there a CFC folder?
You may need to map this to /cfc in Railo web admin
<your-server>/railo-context/admin/web.cfm?action=resources.mappings

There are two main folders with cfc's in them model and controller but no directory called cfc.
As far as I know I've mapped railo :

<url-pattern>/splash/index.cfm/*</url-pattern>

I'm on the login page of splash it is just that the db will not migrate it says it can't find it.
see attachments.
