Layouts, snippets, pages lose formatting

Hi guys

Any idea how to overcome the issue of the code formatting being lost when one re-edits a layout/snippet/page?

The first time when one saves a formatted piece of text (with indents, etc.), it goes into the database correctly.

But when one goes back to edit it, the formatting is lost during the display, and when you save it, obviously the new version stored in DB does not have the formatting.

Ok. So this one was really bugging me...

After a bit of digging around I found that it was caused by the fact that I'm using Railo and and had Whitespace management turned on.

Now, I'm not sure if that is the correct behaviour in Railo, but for now, I've switched off Whitespace management an formatting gets preserved.

That is odd, which version of Railo? I am not having any issues...

I'm using: Railo 3.1.2.020 final

I had upgraded to the latest, but found that CONCAT mysql function was giving issues on that, so had to roll it back. I'm using CONCAT to get hold of the full name of a user.

I saw another Railo build come through yesterday. Maybe I'll try that.

Which version are you on?
